Concert One: OCTOBER 7, 2012

Program:

Quartettsatz in c minor D.703, Franz Schubert
Quartet for Oboe and string trio in F major K. 370, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
String Quartet op 18 #6, Ludwig van Beethoven

We begin our season with Schubert’s fiery Quartettsatz followed by Mozart’s elegant Oboe Quartet featuring John Snow, and finishing with the first installment of The Musical Offering’s exploration of Beethoven’s string quartets.

Performance starts at 3:00pm at Sundin Music Hall on the campus of Hamline University. Parking is free and plentiful, and there is curbside drop-off within feet of the door. For directions, click here.

Online ticket sales are now closed, however tickets will still be available Sunday. Subscriptions are only $48, and include a wonderful CD – our first – featuring selected recordings of last season’s works.
