John Snow, oboe
A recipient of two McKnight Foundation Artist Fellowships (2005, 2011), oboist John Snow has played classical ensembles throughout the Twin Cities and the United States and is currently acting principal oboe of the Minnesota Orchestra. Before moving to the Twin Cities, John taught throughout North America and New Zealand, and performed with ensembles like the Detroit Symphony, National Symphony, and Santa Fe Opera. John joined the Minnesota Orchestra in 1999, and the artist faculty at University of Minnesota’s School of Music in 2000.
