Norbert Nielubowski, bassoon

Norbert Nielubowski, a native of Chicago, has been a member of the Minnesota Orchestra since 1987 and has been the orchestra’s contrabassoonist since 1993. He has performed with the Chicago Lyric Opera Orchestra, the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and the Los Angeles Philharmonic. He is a member of the faculty of the University of Minnesota where he teaches bassoon, contrabassoon, reedmaking, and wind chamber music.
